The spangled are now breeding fairly true with quite a few even having yellow legs. There are few more willow and darker legs than I’d like but spangles and yellow legs are beginning to come together.
I am particularly impressed with their temperament. They are calm and friendly .

Tolbunt, means approximately “jazzy”. It is a combination of mottling and a pattern usually lacing as in this pullet. A lovely broad pullet with great set of tail and a good addition to breed blue into Tolbunts or Millefleur. She is for sale. Cockerels also available.

Wormed all the birds today. They have to be on the wormer for a week. Also got the oregano extract an dwill give them that from next week and as have no excuse not to linseed oil all round from next week too as it is good for immune system and fertility and makes them shine more! 🙂
