My mottled/millefleur/spangled breeding project was from scratch and doesn't yet breed true so I still get birds which are just an irregular, mish-mash of mottling, lacing, spots and stripes, gold and black. It seems these happy accidents of genetics have a name, Tolbunt - I think it means jazzy - and are recognised as a breed somewhere or other. 

I know nothing of the standard but keep them because look funky and I like the sound of the name.

Unfortunately, as often happens in even the best Wyandotte households  they aren't immune from single combs.
